Sam Hinks – Guitar and Vocals

A Falkirk bairn, Sam has many years fronting bands of different genres. Playing throughout the UK and abroad he had gained valuable experience in live performance and recording. Now in his latest venture, he capitalises on everything he knows, to entertain and inspire with accessible originals and well-chosen cover versions.

These days Sam is mostly a ‘Strat’ man with his go to axe being a modified ‘63 reissue Fender Stratocaster. He plays through one of several rigs, depending on requirements, however his current favourites are a Morgan Tweed head and cab or Blackstar Artisan head and bespoke Zilla 2x12 cab.

A huge fan of F1 and rugby, Sam loves his sport and race/game time food. His football boots are firmly hung up, however, I guess it should be a case of ‘never say never’. Sam’s taste in music varies across many genres and decades. He says, “One thing should always be a common thread throughout any given musical choice… an emotional connection. It’s so important.”

“The Lost Boys Blues Band will be stepping up a gear in 2020. Something we’re all looking forward to.”
